Easy to make and loaded with rich peanut butter flavour and melty chocolate chips in every bite.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Line an 8" x 8" cake pan with parchment paper or grease it. - In a large bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, melted butter and both sugars until smooth.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Let cool completely before slicing into bars.
