What's not to love about this no-bake snack that’s easy, quick and only 5 ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups honey nut cereal
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional toppings:
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
Instructions:
- Line an 8" x 8" square pan with parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, add the peanut butter, honey and butter. Stir slowly until everything melts together and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
- Place the cereal in a large bowl. Pour the warm mixture over the cereal and gently fold until every piece is coated and slightly shiny.
- Transfer the mixture into the pan and press firmly until compact and level.
- Sprinkle over the toppings, if using, and gently press into the mixture.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour. Lift out of the pan and cut into squares.
