Got dull scissors? No sharpening stone? This quick maintenance trick can sharpen the blade edges of your scissors.
Instructions:
- Tear off a sheet of heavy duty, aluminum foil, approximately 12 inches long.
- Fold it 6 to 8 times until you have a thick strip.
- Make long full cuts from the base of your scissors to the tip.
- Repeat 10 to 20 cuts.
- When finished, wipe the blades with a dry cloth or paper towel to remove tiny foil particles from the blades.
