This big batch snack mix is loaded with texture — popcorn, cheesy puffs, cereals, cashews, puff pastry sticks — all tossed in a flavourful seasoning.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups corn puff cereal
- 4 cups wheat squares cereal
- 200g puff pastry breadsticks, Gruyère flavoured (or any savoury flavour)
- 2 cups cashews, halved
- 1 cup salted butter
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh rosemary (or 1/2 if using dried)
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp everything bagel spice mix
- 4 cups cheese puffs
- 4 cups white cheddar popcorn
Instructions:
- In a large, high-walled roasting pan, add the corn puff cereal, wheat squares cereal, puff pastry breadsticks and cashews. Toss to mix.
- Add the butter, garlic and rosemary in a small saucepan and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour all over the contents in the roasting pan. Mix thoroughly.
- Mix in the everything bagel spice mix.
- Cook, uncovered, in a preheated 250°F oven for 1 hour, mixing every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Add the cheese puffs and popcorn. Mix thoroughly. Enjoy!
